"Befriend your breath" is a beautiful program. It is more than just controlling inhale and exhale for sure. At the end of every session, I was able to look at one aspect or the other in a different perspective. I can say, the course is an enabler. I am able to decide better on what could work for me. I found the experience in 'Befriend Your Breath' program empowering in the same vein a student would find a new mode of learning. Despite having learned pranayama in the past at multiple schools, I never witnessed my breath to the extent I did during the course. This close-looped process formed a more complete understanding of the techniques.
I liked that the teachings were not regimented but more exploratory. At the same time, emphasis on the strong Vedic foundations of yoga and pranayamam, at every step along the way, assured a lot of credence. The approach followed is not a one-size-fits-all, and was quite personalized.
